About three years ago our local Albuquerque MLS switched to a new interface and it’s changed the way people do their Albuquerque MLS search. At least it has for buyers working with tech-savvy real estate brokers like me.
Here’s how home searches used to work: once homebuyers decided upon their price range, their chosen area, number of bedrooms, etc., I’d carefully pick through the MLS listings for them until I found what I thought they might like to see. It involved a lot of guesswork on my part. I had to cross my fingers and hope that I got lucky and picked the right homes with the right colors that would be appealing.

It’s so much easier now using the Albuquerque MLS Client Portal. Not only is it quicker and easier, saving both you and me loads of time, it’s a much more thorough and sophisticated search. In fact it’s so much better, it’s not even funny.
Here’s how it works. You tell me what your price range is, the areas you want to live in, the number of bedrooms, baths and garage spaces, then I plug it into the MLS which searches for Albuquerque homes that exactly match your needs. Once the search is complete and I’ve checked it I’ll send you a link so you can view the homes. They’re stored in what’s called your MLS client “portal.” Using the portal you can see all the home details, you can save or reject them as you see fit, you can leave notes on the ones you like or send me memos asking about whatever follow up questions you have, etc.
It gets even better! After the initial search the computer will continue to look for new Albuquerque MLS listings that meet your needs and wants and automatically send them to you when they hit the market. On day one! Or, let’s say a house reduces in price and is now in your price range? It’ll automatically send them to you too.
This means you can be assured that your home search is as current and comprehensive as possible and you won’t miss any Albuquerque houses you might really love!
The days of Realtors showing you homes that are way out of your price range, don’t have a 2 car garage that you said you had to have, or homes that you think are just plain ugly are over! You get total control of the home buying process!!!
You know what else is really cool?
